Welcome to The Den!
This is the first blog of our Washington adventures here in Port Townsend. We welcome all our family and friends to follow our exploration and activities here in the Olympic Peninsula and all over the Pacific Northwest.
Our home, or den as we like to call it, sits right on the shore of Adelma Beach on Discovery Bay and is a wonderfully cozy place to stay. You are all welcome to visit anytime!
Even though we are just settling in, there are always fun things to do at the den. We will be posting photos and notes regularly so check back often!

can't wait to hear about your adventures! miss you! btw we're thinking about leaving LA on dec 12th getting there by the 14th and then leaving your place on the 18th. I don't know if that works for you but i need to see your new place and you... and Forks.
